Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this Valterra RV Plumbing Fitting. It's a 90-degree elbow with half inch barb by half inch barb. Now, folks, this coupler here will connect hoses in the RV's freshwater plumbing system, and it is used for repairing leaky connections or installing new ones. As you can see, it's 90-degree, and like I said, it's a half inch barbed connection on both sides, and this end will fit a 3/8 inch inner diameter hose. Now, you wanna use hose clamps to secure those fittings once you have that hose on there, those are sold separately, or you can get them locally.
Now this 90-degree elbow will let water flow and help it stay flowing, rather, whenever there's a change of direction without risk of kinking your hose and those kind of things.
