Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Flair-It PEXLock Coupler Fitting. This RV freshwater plumbing coupler is going to connect pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system. Whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install all new lines. This is going to work with your PEX pipes, PERT tubing, and IAPMO polyvinyl pipes.
The two half-inch crimp connections with these two PEXLock clamps are going to mean that you don't need any specialized tools for a nice tight, secure fit. And the reusable PEXLock clamps are installed with just a pair of pliers, and then they can be removed with a screwdriver. Now let me just give you a brief illustration of how you can install this coupler fitting. First, you're gonna slide the clamps, the PEXLock clamps rather, over the end of the pipe. And you do wanna make sure that it is flush with a straight cut end of the pipe or tube that you're gonna be installing this in.
And then you're going to insert the fitting into the end of the pipe, making sure that it meets the positive stop on the fitting. And then finally, you're gonna use a pair of pliers to squeeze together the two ears on the clamp until you hear a click or until the two ears overlap and engage each other. Now, once you have this coupler properly installed, you're not gonna have to worry about it. That fitting is going to be very secure for you. We have been very impressed at how secure the connections have been on other Flair-It fittings.
So again, that's going to hold up really well for you. And then this fitting, this coupler can be removed. You're just going to carefully use a bladed screwdriver to remove the PEXLock clamps. And when you are removing the fitting itself, it might take some doing to actually remove that from the pipe or the tube because of how secure that fitting was. It might take a little bit of doing just to get that fitting actually removed.
Now this fitting is very durable. It's reinforced to prevent any cracks from stress. And that's going to wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
