Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this Flair-It PEXLock 90 degree female swivel elbow fitting. Now this RV freshwater plumbing 90 degree swivel elbow coupler is going to connect pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system. Whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install new lines, this is going to work with your PEX pipes, PERT tubing, and IAPMO-approved polyvinyl pipes. This half-inch crimp connection with PEXLock clamp means you don't need any specialized tools to give you a secure fit. And this reusable PEXLock clamp is installed with just a pair of pliers, and can be removed with a screwdriver.
This 3/8 of an inch FPT connection is going to fit hoses or tubes with a 3/8 of an inch NPT fitting, and that 90 degree elbow is going to let the flow of water change direction without the risk of kinking your tubing. That swivel connection, of course, is going to reduce stress on your hoses or pipes. And to install this, it's going to be relatively simple. You're gonna slide the PEXLock clamp over the end of the pipe or the tube that you're going to need to install this fitting on. You do want to make sure that this clamp is sitting flush with the straight cut end, and then you're going to insert your fitting into the end of the pipe or the tube, making sure that it meets the positive stop on the fitting.
And then finally, you're gonna use just a pair of pliers to squeeze together the two ears on the clamp, until you hear a click or until the two ears overlap and engage each other. So this connection is going to be very secure for you. On your screen, I am including a photo of what this fitting is going to look like after it's properly installed. We have been very impressed at how secure the connection was on other Flair-It fittings that we have tested. So once you have this properly installed, you're not gonna have to worry about it.
It's gonna be very secure for you. And as I mentioned, this can be removed, as well. This clamp is gonna be reusable. So to remove this fitting, you're just gonna carefully use a bladed screwdriver to remove the PEXLock clamp, and you might have to apply some force to remove this fitting from the tube or the pipe that you have this installed in, since it was so secure with that clamp. And this fitting is durable.
It's reinforced to prevent any cracks from stress. Well, that's going to wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
