Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Valterra RV 3/8 inch by half inch 90-degree elbow male adapter fitting. Now this coupler will connect hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system. It can be used for repairing leaky connections or installing new lines. On this end right here, you can see it's a 3/8 inch male pipe thread connection.
This will fit hoses or fresh water tanks that have a 3/8 inch female pipe thread fitting. They do recommend to use thread tape for making a secure installation. On the other end right here, you can see it's a half inch barb connection. This will fit a half inch inner diameter hose, and it's recommended to use a hose clamp for securing the fitting. This is a 90-degree elbow, so we'll let the flow of water change direction without the risk of kinking a hose.
And this part is a black polypropylene construction. But that should do it for the review on the Valterra RV 3/8 inch by half inch 90-degree elbow male adapter fitting.

Direct replacement for my camper water tank fitting that broke. Local supplier did not carry it for some reason. Worked great, thanks for carrying it.
What can you say... it makes water go 90°. Works perfectly with my Valterra water tank. I used PEX tubing for my water lines. Just heat the PEX ends up a little and they will slide over the barbs on these fittings. Then just use a hose clamp to secure the lines.
The product works perfectly and good quality. I don’t give it 5 stars because it took 3 weeks to arrive even though it was in stock.
