Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Camco RV water pump permanent winterization kit. Now this kit here will give you this bypass valve that'll let you pump antifreeze through your RV's pipes using your water pump. It's also great for winterizing boats and pools, plus, it will include everything laid out here on the table. It includes this four-foot-long clear plastic hose, the three-way brass valve, female adapter, female barbed fitting, and a roll of thread seal tape. Now this is a very easy installation.
All you'll need is an adjustable wrench, and on the back of the packaging it comes in, we'll give you the instructions on how to put it or install it. It is a permanent installation, so it does make your annual winterization a lot easier. Now the hose right here, this siphon hose, connects to this valve and directs the antifreeze. It is a brass three-way valve that'll resist corrosion. And just to show you what we're talking about, it has a control valve right here.
So right now, if you look at it, it'll say open, which means the fluid will go directly all the way through. And then when you turn it this way, it'll say bypass, and it's bypassing it out this way. You just remove this cap, hook your hose to it, and it bypasses it. We mentioned the tape right here. This is a PTFE thread seal tape, so it lets you seal all your connections you make, and the female adapter here will adapt to this to ensure that it'll fit your water pump.
