Today, we're going to be taking a look at the RV Hand Pump Kit. This is going to connect to the outside water inlet, and it's going to fill your fresh water lines with non-toxic, RV anti-freeze. This is a simple way to protect your plumbing and water fixtures from damage during Winter RV storage. The unit's constructed of a lead-free, plastic construction. It's going to come with a longer outlet hose. That's this right here.
This connects to the water inlet, and then it runs and connects to the top of the pump. This pump is this unit right here. Nice, easy to use design. It's also going to come with a shorter hose. That's this piece right here.
This connects to the bottom of the pump and inserts into the container of the non-toxic RV anti-freeze. Then, you can just pump it into your system. Used it today and worked perfectly. Arrived just in time for below 32 degree night time temps in Idaho. Now I can set back and not worry about freezing pipes in my Thor Class C motorhome.

This was my first time winterizing my travel trailer. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was using the Valterra Antifreeze hand pump. Within less than 30 minutes I had the water lines winterized. I appreciate etrailer and their staff with the personal contact on all my orders. Purchased this hand pump kit to winterize the black tank flush with rv antifreeze (sh*t spinner) in my trailer.
Delivery was quick & product seemed to work well. I prefer winterizing with rv antifreeze instead of compressed air.
Hand pump did the job, only fault was the hose end that screws into trailer came off the fitting a couple times during winterization. It should come with a hose fitting to secure end to hose. I will have to buy one and install. Will use again to winterize.
