Question:
2018 Coachmen Apex Nano 15X single axle. Bathroom sink has a fitting on top of faucet that extends a hose up to an including a shower head. this function does not work the water barely trickles out of the shower head even with It On full in both faucets. Im thinking its probably clogged with sediment since it was hardly ever used from the previous owner. I would like to use it but is there any way to replace it or repair it without making it leak all over the place? Im not sure if you know what Im talking about but maybe you do. Ive seen some of them have their own Plumbing to the shower but mine doesnt, it piggybacks off the top of the bathroom sink faucet

Hey Sherri, sorry you’re running into this - that’s definitely frustrating.
What you’re describing could be caused by a clogged shower head or an issue with the diverter valve at the sink faucet (since your setup runs off the sink).
Here’s how I’d troubleshoot it step by step:
1. Check the shower head
Start by unscrewing the shower head from the hose. Turn the water on briefly and see how the flow looks.
If the water comes out strong, the shower head is likely clogged and just needs to be cleaned or replaced.
2. Check the hose and diverter (d spud on faucet)
If the flow is still weak, the issue could be in the hose or at the d spud / diverter valve.
Disconnect the hose where it attaches to the diverter (at the faucet).
Turn the water on very briefly to check flow there.
Have towels ready so you don’t splash water everywhere.
If the water flows well at that point, the hose is likely clogged and should be replaced.
3. Replace the faucet/diverter (if needed)
If the flow is still weak even at the diverter, the valve itself may be clogged or faulty. In that case, you’ll want to replace the faucet with one that has a built-in diverter (D-spud).
Some good options are:
Phoenix Faucets Catalina RV Bathroom Faucet – Brushed Nickel ( # PF222441)
Phoenix Faucets Catalina RV Bathroom Faucet – Chrome ( # PF222341)
And if you end up needing a new hose and shower head, you can use:
Phoenix Faucets Hose and Shower Head Kit ( # PF276045)
After diagnosing and when you're ready to replace parts, you can make sure water is shut off so you can limit the water mess.
Let me know what you find as you go through those steps, or if I misunderstood your setup - I’m happy to help you dial it in.

Hello Sherri, I purchased this faucet for my Lance truck Camper. It was an exact replacement and worked far better than the original, for an example the diverter knob on top was smooth for the shower application. I thought the price was great. happy camping Steve.
