Troubleshooting a RV Kitchen Faucet Turning Off After it Gets Turned on More Than 1/2 Way
Updated 07/26/2022 | Published 07/23/2022 >
Question:
When I start to turn on the faucet the water will run until it reaches about 1/2 way on then it shuts off and will not turn back on. Seems like pressure gets to high? Any suggestions to fix this or do I need to replace faucet?

A kitchen faucet like the Empire Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull-Down Spout # EM47UR uses a standard flow aerator. If your faucet is running ok until you turn it on more than half way, it is possible that the aerator could be clogging up and causing pressure buildup which happens once the pressure from your faucet gets turned on high enough.
I would start by making sure you aerator is not clogging up. If the aerator is clear, then replacing your faucet would be a good direction to go.
