How to Install a Kitchen Faucet

To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Then tighten the included mounting nuts against the underside of the counter, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

This faucet fit perfectly as a replacement for my old one. Additionally, the video provided on etrailer was straightforward and easy to understand. My only advice is to put the label (the Empire etching) toward the back - I put in on facing the wrong direction the first time!

I would rate the Product a #3, only because it did not include the fact that the faucet head did not rotate , as I needed that because we have dual Sinks ! It was the only one offered that had the right measurement between the two water line inlets thru the counter ! I had to buy a pivoting nozzle that did not work out well, and am still trying to find one that we can make work ! The Manufacturer did not offer any solution ! Thanks !

This is a replacement of the like it that broke. They didn’t lubricate the O-ring seals. The faucet is very hard to turn. That’s why the original one broke. I took this one apart and lubricated it myself. Much better.

Your shipping turnaround was quick. When the package showed up, it was nearly destroyed during the shipping/handling process though. It was shipped in it's original manufacturer's cardboard box, which was not up to the heaving handling of shipping via carriers. So it was bent, torn an open when it arrived. Fortunately, the contents were all there and the faucet was not damaged. In the future, you should consider reboxing into a heavier container before shipping items like this. I decided not to send it back, because I was in a hurry to install the item. Fortunately for all...it worked fine.

When I received this, there was a hole in the box. Other than faucets what else belongs in the box? It doesn't seem complete?

This faucet does not come with much. I have confirmed that what is included is the faucet and two inlet shanks. You will need to get some tile and tub caulk for installation, but that is not included with this faucet. Please let me know if you were missing the inlets.

Can Any Faucet Be Used To Replace A Leaky One In Your RV
Not just any faucet will work so you'll want to take one quick measurement of your inlet shanks from center to center to make sure that the replacement matches. The # EM65FR you were looking at has an 8" spacing for the inlet shanks. Other than that you could use pretty much any faucet including single inlet shank styles like # EM54JR that come with a a cover for the inlet shank holes.

Can The Empire Faucets Hybrid RV Kitchen Faucet Be Installed Without The Hand Sprayer?
The side sprayer on the Empire Faucets Hybrid RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Sprayer # EM82CR can be installed separately form the faucet, however you'd have to find the correct fitting and hose to match the existing piping, which may be a pain. Instead, I recommend getting a faucet without a hand sprayer like the Empire Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet # EM65FR. This faucet has a similar footprint as # EM82CR, but has a two-hole installation as oppose to the 4-hole installation for # EM82CR.

Can Empire Faucet EM65FR be Used with Water Filter
The Empire Faucet # EM65FR does not have ability to have a Pur water filter added to it but we do have water filtration systems that was designed for RVs like with the Camco RV and Marine Premium Water Filter # CAM40631. You could install this on your RV and then use the Empire faucet and you'd have filtered water like you are wanting and be able to use this faucet.

Can Brita Filter be Used with Empire Faucets RV Touchless Kitchen Faucet
If you're talking about the Brita filter that is connected to the end of the spout then you need a standard faucet like the Empire Faucets # EM65FR. If you were to use the Empire Faucets # EM23PR then the filter would cover up that sensor and you would essentially have a standard faucet at that point. What I recommend doing is using the Empire Faucets # EM23PR that has the motion sensor and then adding a filter prior to the faucet like what we see with the AquaFresh Exterior Water Filter...
