Pull the spout down so you can easily tackle that food caked onto your plates or rinse the sides of the sink from any angle. Toggle between the stream and spray options depending on how much pressure you need or how long that food has been sitting there. When you're done using it, the spout self-retracts with a hose weight that can be adjusted anywhere along the spray hose.
Depending on your setup, you'll need either the built-in round deck plate for a 1-hole installation or the included oval deck plate for a 3-hole installation. To install, use the inlet shank and drop the new faucet and a deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Then tighten the mounting nut onto the shank so that the washer is in between the nut and the underside of the counter. Finally, install the hose weight, thread the pull-down head's hose onto the faucet's center inlet, and connect the braided hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Empire Faucets Hybrid RV Kitchen Faucet with a pull down spout. This faucet is going to allow you to upgrade your kitchen faucet in your RV or camper. It's got a brass hybrid construction, and it's gonna be led free and resistant to corrosion. The underbody is a molded durable ABS plastic construction, so it will hold up really well for you, and it does have this brushed nickel finish, so it's gonna look really nice for you as well. You can see, this does have the gooseneck spout that's going to rotate 360 degrees for easy use.
The pull down head provides a really easy to maneuver cleaning, and so if we need to clean out our sink bowl after we've washed dishes or whatnot, this is gonna give us that option. We're also going to have this toggle button here that's going to allow us to switch between our stream and our spray settings. Our spray head is going to have check valves to prevent any backflow contamination into our water system. This does have a standard flow aerator with a flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute, so it helps to clean your dishes fast, but you should be taking into consideration as to what kind of impact that's gonna have on your water tank. This does have a single handle design with a lever style handle that allows you to easily control the temperature, hot to the left, cold to the right here.
This can be oriented in several different orientation, so right now, I have it off to the right hand side, that's the most comfortable for me, I'm right-handed, that's what my sink is at home, but you could have it out sticking out to the front if you wanted, or even out to the left here, you've got all sorts of options when you're mounting this in place. This does have a diamond ceramic disc cartridge that is gonna be maintenance-free, so you're not gonna have to worry about any drips when you have the faucet turned on, it's gonna have a nice water tight seal, so that's gonna stay nice and dry for you. This can be installed in either a one hole or a three hole installation, this optional 10 3/8 wide deck plate helps to cover up those two side holes, but you can just put this one, take that deck plate off, and have it mounted in a single hole if that's what you're replacing. You can see on the underside here, we do have these braided stainless steel riser hoses that are going to resist rust and corrosion, these will connect to your existing half inch water lines. Our overall dimension for our faucet here, if we do have this plate in place, we're gonna be at that 10 3/8 inch wide, our height is 16 5/8 of an inch tall, and then our depth is gonna be right at 11 1/2 inches deep.
They do recommend using some tile and tub caulk to seal this up, finish off your installation, and that's kind of a personal preference. In my opinion, it is a good idea to make sure that you're not gonna have to worry about any water getting down in there, if you're kinda crazy when you wash dishes like I am and start splashing things all over the place, that'll make sure that no water is gonna get in there where it could potentially cause problems. This is ADA compliant, so it's gonna work for a wide range of ability levels, and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty, so if you we're to have any problems with it, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. Prevents excess water on the counter. May sound odd, but try it, you will like it!
We're on our first trip with the new faucet and are delighted with it. Not only does it look good, it works great. The switch from flow to spray is easy and smooth and the pull down spout reaches every part of the sink easily. We're very pleased with our purchase.
Faucet is ok. The pull down spout looks like it’s not fully retracted when it is. I’m not too happy about that. Also, the last time we went out in the RV, the swiveling neck at the base was froze. I had to disassemble the mounting and spray lubricant in the swivel joint to free it up . It’s working better ,but kind of sticking still. I probably would be happier with a higher quality pull down spout faucet even though they cost more.
The handle would not retract and was extremely hard to pull down. We returned the faucet.
