You can, Harvey, but you’d need to wire the camera to a constant 12 volt source instead of the marker light circuit. Keep in mind that will draw from your battery, so if you’re parked without shore power, you’ll want to monitor battery voltage or use a cut-off switch, or even a solar panel kit.

For travel, most folks stick with the marker light tie-in so the camera only runs when the tow vehicle is on or has its running lights on.

If you really wish to wire the Brandmotion Wireless HD Observation Camera System Universal # BM37SR to a continuous power source, you can wire the camera's power wire to the trailer's battery instead. If you need help finding the correct connectors, wires, and fuses, just let me know!
