Does The BrandMotion Trailer And RV Camera Record Automatically With The DVR? How Much Footage?

Question:
Does the DVR record automatically, and how much video can it hold? – Kendra

Expert Reply:
Yes, Kendra, once you pop in a microSD card up to 128 GB (sold separately) the DVR included in the universal camera kit # BM37SR will auto-record whenever the monitor is powered on. That’s great for logging your trip or having a record in case of an incident (knock on wood).
How much footage it stores depends on card size and resolution, but at 1080p you can expect around a whole day of footage before it loops and overwrites the oldest clips.
Have you used a dash cam or something similar before? This works in a similar fashion with the overwriting video data.
