Today we're taking a look at the Yakima RoundBar Crossbar Adapter Kit. This crossbar adapter kit prevents the Yakima BigCatch carrier or saddles from rotating on your RoundBar setup. Really nice design, durable plastic construction, straight from the manufacturer so this is a Yakima product. It fits part number Y04091. It keeps your heavy fishing and sit-on-top kayaks secure to the rack. Four adapters are included.
This product is covered with a limited lifetime warranty.To loosen it up or to install it you'll need to remove this all the way. That bolt just comes right out so it's just a big clip. You can fit it directly over the RoundBar, feed the bolt through, and then the hand knob simply just threads on. Again, this is going to keep the Yakima BigCatch from rotating on a RoundBar roof rack setup. That's going to do it for today's look at the RoundBar Crossbar Adapter Kit from Yakima..
Horrible experience with Yakima rock ‘n’ roll trailer. I would not purchase a trailer on the Internet again. I would not trust Yakima’s description of their products in the future.
Perfect fit to the round bars on a Yakima Rack N Roll 78" kayak trailer.
Easy to install and keeps the Big Catch Kayak saddles from rotating…mostly. They still move a little bit, but overall, much better with the addition of these attachments. Would recommend and will likely purchase another set later for another set of Big Catch saddles.

I didn't really need this set up, just the screw on knob. I did a recovery in Anza Borrego and one of the guys took off my shovel and lost one screw on. I couldn't find just the knobs. So, now I have extras, lol I luv etrailer. Always spot on for me. :)
So far so good clamps still on haven't fallen off.
