Question:

I installed the round bar adapters onto the BigCatch saddles and they still rotate as much if not more than the corebar adapters that came with the BigCatch. The stock corebar adapters are stronger and grasp the round bars stighter. Seems unnecessary to use the round bar adapters. Whats your opinion on these roundbar adapter?

The RoundBar Adapter Kit for Yakima BigCatch Saddles # Y04093 are designed to work with the Yakima BigCatch Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # Y04091 to prevent them from rotating. If they are still rotating with the adapters installed, I would ensure that everything is installed properly.

If everything is installed properly and you still feel like there is the same or more rotation with the adapters, you do not have to use the round bar adapters. You can use whatever is performing the best.
