Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this replacement saddle for the Yakima BigCatch Kayak Carrier. It is for a quantity of one saddle. Now, this will replace the saddle on your Yakima BigCatch Kayak Carrier, which is part number Y04091. We do sell that kayak carrier separately on our website.

Basically, the BigCatch Kayak Carrier consist of four of these saddle type cradles that attach to your roof's crossbars, and it allows you to transport a kayak. The saddle basically will slide onto the crossbar and then it tightens down to the crossbar. Then your kayak will sit right on top of the saddle here and it's held in place with tie-downs and load straps that are run through the saddles themselves.This is made of a sturdy ABS plastic construction. It does have rubber pads right here on the bottom to protect the crossbar when you install it. And then right up at the top here, it has rubber pads which will protect the kayak that'll sit up on top of here.

It does come with the locking tool that after you tighten this down to your crossbar, you can tighten it down and it'll lock it into place. This is for a quantity of one saddle. But that should do it for the review on the replacement saddle for Yakima BigCatch Kayak Carrier for a quantity of one.
