When you’re loading up gear for the job site or a long trip, you need a rack that won’t flex or shift. This setup includes 3 Heavy Duty crossbars, 6 RLTF legs, and 2 RT tracks—built from aluminum for strength without unnecessary weight. With a 220-lb weight capacity and solid track mounting, it’s ready to handle kayaks, ladders, tents, or anything else you need to haul securely.
The square bars give your gear a stable base and include top channels that fit Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty accessories like ladder rollers, load stops, and eyebolts. The built-in rubber strips in those channels help cushion the load and add slip resistance so your cargo stays put while you drive.
Weather and theft are two things that can ruin a good trip. Rubber strips in the bar channels seal against moisture while cutting vibration between your gear and the bar. The lockable cover plates on each leg secure the rack to your vehicle so your setup stays where you left it when you park for the night.
These crossbars are built from black powder-coated aluminum, which resists rust and corrosion even with heavy outdoor use. Each bar measures 71" long x 1-5/8" wide x 1-7/8" tall, giving plenty of space for wide gear setups. You get Rhino-Rack’s limited lifetime warranty on the crossbars and 5-year limited coverage on the legs and tracks, so you can keep using this rack season after season.

Rhino Rack is a good strong product. However the Rhino Feet attachment to the Thule track rails did not fit as advertised. The Rhino feet attachment plates had to be ground down to fit inside the Thule track rail channels. Everyone of them. Not a big deal, as i have a bench grinder. I would estimate that the Rhino plates were at least a full .020" of an inch too large to fit in the channel. (see pictures) The rest of the install was a snap, in my opinion the Rhino directions were lacking enough detail. Some trial and error was needed as is common with most items that require some assembly. Completed install is good looking and super functional.
E-Trailer support was stellar. They helped me find the right product and worked hard to get it shipped out. Product installed easy per the included instructions and E-Trailer help videos. I have ordered many items from E-Trailer and will continue to do so.
The Rhino Rack HD crossbar kit for tracks fits my SyneticUSA Pro retractable cover perfectly. RR includes several track nuts of different sizes to match to your particular track. I love the quick detach capability of the towers and that they also lock for security. The HD bars are essentially the same dimension of 1 5/8" unistrut/superstrut so you can find all sorts of attachment hardware outside of what RR makes. This makes it easy to securely bolt your gear down to the cross bars and customize with easy to find hardware at your local home depot. The 65" HD bars are perfect for a mid size truck like my Tacoma.
The rack more than exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and mount on the cap of my Tacoma truck. I was pleasantly surprised by the aerodynamics which virtually eliminate wind noise, even at highway speed. I pirchased the rack as a permanent mount for a 4rod flyrod holder which I use daily for fishing. The Rhino keeps everything “tight and right”. It has worked perfectly for nearly three hundred trips and over 15,000 miles this year.
Attached these to Yakima tracks on my pickup copper. Loaded our two 13’ kayaks on them last weekend. Worked great, easy to install. It was missing a couple parts, I reached out to etrailer with what parts were missing and they came in the mail yesterday. Excellent customer service and very satisfied with the product.
Work great and look good. Easy to insta ll.
the rails worked great on 8' topper. I used my own SS screws not the rivets supplied. I only gave a 4 because it was missing one of the end caps. :(
Great product. Added bike mounts and placed on my Diamondback cover. Works great.
sturdy, coated steel or stainless 5mm (3/16) rivets included to reduce corrosion chances.
problem encountered: air riveter required (readily available to borrow or purchase ) due to strength of rivets , the problem is all common rivet guns are too large in diameter to fit into the rail "valley" so the tip is flush with the surface of the hole which is required for proper fastening. In some rhino rack instructional videos these are clearly made with enlarged spaces to fit rivet gun . are these really rhino rack or knock off ? bad production run ? I solved the problem because I have access to a machine shop and was under time pressure due to a planned trip but most customers would be in a mess with no way to solve this issue.
that said , after several extra hours of effort I successfully mounted the rails and new pioneer rack and roof top tent on my naked metal roof and i am happily able to go down the road.

Shiela was wonderful! fantastic customer service ,all other rhino products received from e trailer were great, e trailer was speedy and very helpful!
I like the Rhino Rack RTV track because is allows Vortex Aero cross bars to be easily moved and removed. However the appropriately sized rectangular track nuts (M6 24x21x5 part No. N057) used to mount items to the rack are no longer available or manufactured. Consequently RTV track cannot be easily used to secure additional items. Rhino Rack is unable to offer a solution other than returning the wrong sized track nuts so I will manufacture my own attachment nuts. After drilling 18 holes in the roof of my new car and installing the RTV track and cross bars, the lack of compatible nuts was a big disappointment. The product should not be sold if components are not available.
I bought Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty Crossbars because they are made to support Rhino-Rack products, including the Batwing Awning I had purchased for a RAM Promaster High Roof van. The crossbars work very well with the awning. However, I have discovered that Rhino-Rack does not provide a solution to attach non-Rhino-Rack products directly to the crossbars. For example, solar panels. There are fixed attachment points for racks on a Promaster. The distance between the crossbars is greater than the length of my solar panels. So I need to attach side rails to my crossbars for mounting my solar panels. Rhino-Rack does not offer side rails that can be attached to the crossbars. They only make baskets and brackets for specific items. They recommend going to licensed installers to get side rails installed. But I could not find an installer who is willing to help. They don't want the hassle and/or they don't want to jeopardize their standing with Rhino-Rack. So, I am left with having to come up with a solution on my own. Very frustrating.
eTrailer is always very helpful and tried their best to find a solution for me. But they were stymied, too.
If you just need Rhino-Rack Crossbars for other Rhino-Rack products, they are great. If you want to carry other manufacturer's products, look for something else.
Kit was great, except my SnugTop cover required longer T-Bolts for mounting the tracks. The 1.5 inch ones provided were too short. It was a little tough sourcing T/Bolts that would work. It would have been nice if longer T-Bolts could have been an option from Rhino Rack.
The heavy duty rhino-racks are very well built. There is wind noise. That can be muffled some by using uni-stut closure strips. Uni-strut fasteners fit on both the top and bottom of these bars making it nice for building your own custom tie down and attachment points
