Features to know about

Carry Heavy Gear with Confidence: Hardened Steel Construction

These crossbars are built from hardened steel, giving you the strength to haul serious gear—kayaks, canoes, cargo boxes, or camping equipment—without worry. The bars handle up to 220 lbs of evenly distributed weight, and the elastomeric coating helps protect against corrosion so they stay solid season after season.

Protect Your Roof and Your Investment: Custom Installation for Naked Roofs

If your roof doesn’t have factory rails, this setup makes things simple. The system installs directly on your naked roof using a custom fit kit designed for a secure hold. The square bar feet grip firmly without damaging the surface, giving you the confidence to load up for your next trip without leaving a mark.

Keep Your Gear Safe: Lockable Leg Covers Deter Theft

When you’re parked at a trailhead or campsite, you don’t have to stress about leaving the rack behind. The lockable leg covers help deter theft of the rack itself, adding peace of mind when your vehicle is unattended.

Fit More Adventure on Top: Square Bars Work with Clamp-On Accessories

These 54" long square bars make it easy to mount your favorite gear carriers. The square shape works with most clamp-on accessories—kayak cradles, cargo boxes, ski racks, and more—so you can mix and match attachments for any season or trip.

Ready for the Long Haul: Complete Roof Rack System

Right out of the box, you get everything you need to start carrying gear—2 square crossbars, 4 square bar feet, and a custom fit kit. It’s a complete steel setup built for durability and steady performance wherever the road takes you.

Product arrived on time and packed very professionally. Was very satisfied with the overall quality of the product. Everything went right together and fit perfectly. I dealt with a gentlemen named George J. He was very professional and extremely helpful throughout the whole process with updates letting me know how my order was going. Very happy with the product.

Great product so far! Just installed the roof rack on my 2015 Ford Fusion and everything was straight forward. I’m excited to use it while kayaking and traveling!

by:

Quick and easy. This roof rack was shipped quickly. Installation was super easy and it looks like it was made for my truck. Holds my canoe perfectly. Thank you!

Perfect Fitment for my 2012 Ford Escape, etrailer.com's fitment guide was spot on.

by:

They look good the only problem is that the brackets that grip the rail are too straight so that the pads do not meet the roof and they bend the crossbar

by: Jesse04/23/2025

I have been very happy with the roof rack system.

by:

Easy to install. I’m happy with the product. Shipping took agile but worth it! I added kayak racks and now I’m able to enjoy my life a little more.

by:

Roof racks are very loud. Probably won’t keep them on all the time like I was planning. Shipping was very slow and took almost a month to get my order that was in stock. Overall the racks do what I need them to do.

by:

I followed directions and the rack went on without a hitch. The measuring tape provided was a bit confusing but my tape measure did just fine. It pays to watch for any movement of the stays as you tighten them. It fit perfectly. I was impressed with the quality of the unit. The torque wrench provided was a nice bonus. I attached a boat rack for my rowing shell and I’m confident it will be safe all the way to the water.

by:

The kit etrailer put together contained all the parts I needed. It took a little figuring to determine how to put it together, but in total only about 30 minutes from box opening to mounting. Now that it is all sized and spaced, it should be much quicker to remount in the future.

I installed it on a 2016 Ford Focus hatchback. I am planning to carry a Thule Cascade 1700 XT rooftop carrier.

So far it looks good. The price was excellent. While driving, it has a bit of an humming noise, but it is not loud or annoying. I like that it has a full set of keys.

All told, it seems like a good product at a reasonable price point.

by:

Good morning so the order I got is amazing I have a old school thule roof rack that I needed the write stuff so can start putting bikes on my roof an my fishing gear or some small stuff for off roading an it works great I will be sure to be buying more stuff from this site great job with the shipping it was very fast an packaging was great it was easy to install an it looks great on my 03 Toyota tacoma thanks again

by:

First and foremost… YES! I would recommend this product to anyone, so def. read further. Price wise… well below what the more known name brands wanted for a similar setup. Product is well made , but if I had to point out one defect… the rubber shoe the rests between the factory roof bar and the inno feet detaches easily during install (see photo). I will figure out how to securely attatch it when I remove it, because (IMO) it's not one of those units that remains on perminantly.

by:

Waited till I put the new rack to work before review. Used it the first time today and it worked Great. Seems like a very durable rack system. Love that everything is rubber coated so it doesnt scratch the paint on your car. Installing instructions where a little confusing but found YouTube videos from etrailer on how to install exact rack system.

by:

Just finished installing on my 2021 Toyota Tacoma. Do not waste your time with the cheap paper tape measure that’s my only negative complaint.. other than that the price was right and it looks great! I had to wait a couple months for back order parts but we’ll worth the wait! I have not driven with it yet so I’m assuming there will be wind noise but I’m used to that with having a Jeep renegade as my last vehicle with the cross bars. I’m excited to haul my kayaks!

by:

This product exceeded my expectations!! Fit my 2014 Explorer with no issues. Extremely easy to install- took about 15 minutes, these crossbars are sturdy and fit perfectly in the INNO feet that secure to the roof rails- I will be hauling 2 paddle boards and have no doubts that they will travel well. I recommend this product !!

by: Charles03/18/2026

Fit's the truck well.

by:

I did the research for a while looking at many different brands for a good quality crossbar at the right price. I came across this one a Japanese brand. As I read more about the brand it has been popular in Japan. I know Japanese product are top quality.

The crossbar, the footing and keys are made with high quality material. Instruction was very clear. Installation took about 10-15 minutes. I love that no tool required to do the install. No wind noise that I can hear at low speed. Have not tested at high speed yet. Overall, highly recommended to anyone looking for a crossbar from a great less polular brand but half the price of other more popular brand.

by:

Installation is easy. Just follow directions. Front bar parts are different than rear bar parts so you need to look at part numbers and use in correct location. Rack is only rated for 100 pounds but looks and feels much stronger than rating. As noted square bars do create lot of wind noise when driving. Purchase this product to carry my Canoe and it does that at almost $200 less than other rack systems on market. For me the square bars are better fit with ratchet straps to hold Canoe down. Hard to find ratchet strap with hook to fit areo bars.
Dislike. No way to level square bars. With car on level ground high point to high point on bars is level. But each bar is off by 1/8" front to back. Wish they were round bars.

by:

I am a fifty-four year old single woman and being able to install these roof racks by myself makes me feel empowered!!
I watched a video emailed with my delivery confirmation of an installation on a similar vehicle all the way through first, and then watched it again as I did the steps myself, pausing when I needed to.
The products appear to be of high quality, were packaged/shipped neatly and it was easy to organize everything for installation. I couldn't be happier!

I am writing this review in the context of an owner of a Yakima roof rack system with round crossbars from a vehicle many vehicles prior to the 2021 Hyundai Tucson on which I just installed an INNO roof rack system with the INSUT Feet, INNO NB137 crossbars and 2 INNO INA391 roof bike racks. The INNO crossbars are rectangular in profile, rather than round, but with a grooved top that mates with the INSUT feet, the crossbars should stay firmly put where they are set in the feet. They do not weigh much, but feel pretty solid given their light weight and relatively thin metal walls. One change I would suggest to INNO is to put a factory mark on the center of the crossbars rather than supply a flimsy little decal for the user to measure and place on the crossbars. I never bothered to try to exactly center the round crossbars on my Yakima system, but it is important, at least on the naked roof of the 2021 Tucson, to properly space the feet from the center of the crossbars. I will probably eventually just put a dab of white touch-up paint to mark the center point.

by: Omar08/21/2025

This set-up fit my 2025 Honda CR-V perfectly. I was able to use my 20 yr old Thule square bars (79") which I have always used for hauling two side-by-side canoes. This saved me from replacing the perfectly good old bars.

by: James07/11/2024

bars and adapters to my MKX worked perfect traveled from South Carolina to Maune with a kayak on the roof. Totally trouble free

by: Mike05/31/2026

Perfect replacement for my rusted Thule crossbars.

by: Eli05/13/2026

Fits great, had to order a fit kit from Japan for the vehicle, as it is JDM only, and INNO was my only option, I am glad etrailer.com had the rest of the parts I needed to get it installed and for a great price!

Thule stopped offering the fit kit you mentioned for your 2010 Toyota Corolla which means that while we have other great roof racks that can be installed on your vehicle we do not have any Thule options. For a rack that is very similar to the Thule square bar racks we have the Inno part # INB127, # INSUT, and # INK593 that fits your vehicle. This rack actually has the exact same crossbar dimensions as the Thule square bars but at a much better price.

  • How To Determine Crossbar Placement On A 2024 Ford Maverick
Hello Warren, I can definitely help. Roof rack manufacturers test vehicle roofs to determine the strongest points. They develop their fit kits to fit in this predetermined spot. So, this measurement will vary from vehicle to vehicle. For a 2024 Ford Maverick, the front crossbar will be placed 12-1/4" back from the top edge of the front windshield. The rear crossbar will be placed about 27-1/2" behind the front crossbar. There may be a bit of front/back wiggle room, but generally you will...

It's padded, can fold down when not in use, and can be expanded to carry a second kaya if ever needed.

The SportRack # SR1002 is a Semi-Custom roof rack. It will fit your 2009 Chevrolet Malibu and will work if you are looking for the most cost-effective option out there. If you plan on using the roof rack frequently though I highly recommend going with a custom roof rack for your Malibu. • Roof Rack Capacity for a 2017 Ford Fiesta
The racks you see have a different weight capacity depending on if your 2017 Ford Fiesta is a 5-door hatchback or 4-door sedan. • Roof Rack Options For A 2024 Honda CR-V
Hey Shelby, Roof rack components are all brand and even model specific so I'll need to know exactly what crossbars you have to find any other compatible components. The # INSUT feet you referenced are for Inno square crossbars. If you want to use them then you would need fit kit # IN45RR and 54" Inno sqaure crossbars # INB137. If you can get me more info on what you have or if you're just wanting to go with a whole new rack then let me know and we can figure out what the best options...

  • Cost Effective Roof Rack Recommendation for 2011 Honda Accord
What we've found with the Sportrack Semi-Custom roof racks like the part # SR1002 is that they don't always fit the best. Reason being they are designed to fit as many vehicles as possible which means they don't fit everything perfectly. The price makes these hard to not be tempted by, but your best option is a fully custom fit roof rack like the Inno part # INB127, # INSUT, and # INK745 otherwise you'll have to get somewhat creative to get the Sportrack to fit right.

  • Roof Rack Recommendation for 2006 Chevy Uplander
Thule does not make a roof rack solution that fits the naked roof versions of the 2006 Chevy Uplander. Closest thing would be the Inno brand roof rack that consists of part numbers # INB127, # INSUT, and # INK585. This won't reuse any of your Thule roof rack but your roof carriers will fit this same square bar style of rack that you had.

Hello Dana, Yes, the Inno Square Bar Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Steel - Black - Qty 2 # IN79TR will be a great fit for your 2016 Toyota Tacoma Limited Double Cab without factory rails. As for the weight rating, you are only as strong as the weakest link, the feet are actually rated for 132 pounds, so I cannot recommend putting more weight on the roof rack than that. As you already know, you will want to check your owners manual to see what Toyota says you can put up there, based on my...

  • Roof Rack and Paddleboard Carrier Recommendations for a 2010 Subaru Legacy
The Semi-Custom roof rack # SR1010 is listed for your 2010 Subaru Legacy. Since it is semi-custom it won't be the best fit like a true custom fit rack would be. If you are interested in a true custom fit rack I recommend an Inno rack using the following parts: bars # INB137, foot pack # INSUT, and fit kit # INK851. With either roof rack installed you can then add a paddleboard carrier. The Yakima SUPDawg # Y04075 is a popular option. It can hold up to 2 paddleboards that are up to 36 inches...
