I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU DETERMINE PLACEMENT OF THE TWO RACKS..CAN YOU ELABORATE?

Hello Warren, I can definitely help. Roof rack manufacturers test vehicle roofs to determine the strongest points. They develop their fit kits to fit in this predetermined spot. So, this measurement will vary from vehicle to vehicle. For a 2024 Ford Maverick, the front crossbar will be placed 12-1/4" back from the top edge of the front windshield. The rear crossbar will be placed about 27-1/2" behind the front crossbar. There may be a bit of front/back wiggle room, but generally you will want to stick to these measurements listed by the manufacturer.
