Question:

I have an older Little Joe 3 bike rack I acquired, for free. I would like to adapt anti sway mounts. Would the Super Cush mounts fit? This is the older style rack with rubberized bars that turn up at the ends. Will this fit on a Little Joe rack upturned ends, rubberized coating

The Yakima Little Joe 3 bike carrier is something of a bare-bones bike carrier and so I understand your interest in giving it an upgrade by using the SuperCush Anti-Sway Cradles # 8880598. I measured the rack arm diameter and found it to be 1-1/8-inches; I also measured the hole diameter of the cradles and found that to be 1-1/4-inches. So, the cradle will fit on the rack arm with room to spare.

I recommend that you avoid drilling into the rack arms to install the cradles as this might weaken them. Instead I suggest using a silicone adhesive # LT37467 to secure the cradles to the vinyl-coated arms on the rack.
