Received my Trailer Valet XL replacement spanner. Kudos to ETrailer- The first one arrived in an open and empty envelope. ETrailer immediately sent another one- great customer support! The spanner is pretty good also!
I was concerned that this tightening tool wouldn’t match the original specs since it only had one grabbing point but I was absolutely wrong. It has great torque and leverage for tightening the etrailer to the hitch and hasn’t worn out at all after repetitive use.
I meant 5 stars on my last review. The tightening tool for the trailer valet XL was perfect. If its trailer valet dollies related, this is the place to get what you need. Fast service and your kept informed on the progress of your product until it reaches you. Best service I have experienced.

etrailer could not have been more supportive. They had sent me a wrench for my trailer valet and It did not show up to my house. They immediately, at their cost, sent me another one. Fantastic customer support. I would highly recommend this company
100 times better than spanner wrench supplied with the Trailer Valet. Much longer handle, more torque, and it DOES NOT SLIP OFF the collar!! Saved smashed knuckles :-)

This part is the only way to go. Now here is the part that they don't want to hear. The original tool provided with the Valet was unsatisfactory. This part should have been sent out as a free upgrade and I should not have had to pay for it. This is my opinion. Hence, when a mistake is made you own it and don't expect your customers to pay for it. Been in business for 42 years and that is how we operate.
The spanner wrench is a replacement for the lost/misplaced original, and handles its tasks easier than the original.
I had trailer valet with 2"/5.16 I replased to 2"
One of those specially tools you need to tighten or loosen a jam ring. If you don’t have it, you have a problem. I purchased 4 of them so I could loose as many as 3 and still be good.
Dont try to tighten without it. This is a must have tool for tightening properly.
Package arrived open and the tool was missing . I didn’t know because I had t been home for 2 weeks . So I had to order another one . Hopefully this time the package arrives with all of what I paid for in it . ??

This spanner works much better than the original that came with the trailer valet xl. It doesn’t slip off the engagement points when tightening. It has not worn out or rounded off- very pleased with it.
