That carrier is sold separately as item number TH594, and, again, this is just half. If you need the whole thing, make sure you're getting the right quantity and the appropriate parts. Everything is fine. I used my experience working at a sporting goods store to decide on purchasing the Thule 619 T2 rack and like that parts are available to maintain it. Its not as tight as when new but neither am I.
