Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we take a look at this replacement #20 rubber shear spring for the MORryde trailer and RV suspension systems. This is for quantity of one spring. Now this part'll replace the number one of the #20 rubber shear springs on your MORryde suspension system. And the way you can tell is, if you look at the spring right here, it is stamped with a number 20 on the spring itself. Now the rubber shear springs should be periodically inspected for any tears or cracks.
If the rubber spring has a three inch long or 3 3/4 inch deep crack or tear, then the rubber should be replaced. Now, this part is designed to work with the LRE4000 series suspension systems for trailers with axle ratings between 6,500 pounds and 7,500 pounds. Also works with the RS series suspension systems for trailers with axle ratings between 12,000 pounds and 15,000 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this replacement #20 rubber shear spring for the MORryde trailer and RV suspension systems..
Product was an exact fit, changed out spring bushings while I had it tore down, ready for the road trip, not that complicated of a fix, used medium lock tite on assembly for bolts, don’t like thing working loose on cross country trips.
Product came quick and was correct. Seems like a good product. Etrailer was awesome during the ordering/shipping process. I have ordered a lot from them and will continue to do so.
The came on time,was what I ordered. They were 100% better than the ordinal set up that was on the trailer when I got it. Handling was better and ride much improved.
Fit perfectly on my 2009 Montana 3000 with more ride suspension. Good night time.

It fit like a glove. Just have to spend time supporting the axles to get the tension off the rubber shear spring. I sure would recommend etrailer for this part to everyone.
This is an exact replacement, delivered quickly. Your videos are usually very helpful, but the one you have on this product has a serious error, when you say how to check if it needs replacing...the depth of any crack should be 3/4" or less, not 3 and 3/4". Thanks

One of them failed after only a 1000 miles. E Trailer would not warranty it so I had to get in touch with Morryde and they took care of me.
Exact fit.
These shear springs fit my 2007 MORyde LRE 4000 system perfectly. I have a 5th wheel with 7000# axles and they were the exact replacement for them.

The factory originals were worn out after about 10 years, had these new ones installed with the Moryde heavy duty shackle kit, went on a long trip recently, working great, smooth ride. Camper sits maybe an inch higher now, gives you an idea how much the old rubber had cracked/deteriorated.
My experience with etrailer was great Paul B completed my order in a timely fashion and kept me updated as when I would get my parts .Exceptional service .
Product looked very good once they were unboxed only issue was a few of the bolts stripped out while trying to tighten them,had to use old ones to finish the job,hopefully the ones that were used do not strip out while driving,other than that looked like quality metal on the shackles and bushings, will let you know how everything goes,we got a 2100 mile trip out to Arizona to do.
