Hi Thomas; check and see if you have a number printed on the shear spring. It may be a little worn, or even under dirt/grime. If you can't identify it by the number you will have to figure out which system you have and the axle rating.
For example, the Replacement #20 Rubber Shear Spring # MR79UR fits LRE4000 systems with axle ratings between 6,501 lbs and 7,500 lbs along with RS Series systems with ratings between 12,001 lbs and 15,000 lbs.

Hey Thomas, were you able to find the number on your shear spring or figure out which suspension system your Montana uses? Knowing that could help confirm if the replacement spring is the right match. Your update could make it easier for others working on the same setup.
