Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com.Today we're going to take a look at the Lippert Replacement Aluminum Hydraulic Actuator for your RV slide-out. Now this is a replacement hydraulic actuator that's made for the Lippert hydraulic slide-out systems and it'll provide a faster and smoother slide-out room movement than your electric systems.This will provide the force to move the slide-out system on your RV and as we've mentioned gives you a lot smoother room movement.This part is made in the USA.Few specs on this. The overall length from this end to this end, is going to be right at 41 5/8 inches. Now the rod that actually moves is this one right here and the length of that goes from here, right about to there. So if we put a measurement on that, it's going to be 37 1/2 inches on just this rod length.
The stroke of it is going to be right at 30 inches. It's going to be from the inside right there, to right there. Then the bore of it on the inside is one and a half inches in diameter.But that should do it for the review on the Lippert Replacement Aluminum Hydraulic Actuator for your RV slide-out.

The e-trailer ram appears to be identical to my OEM Lippert ram and after the install the ram appears to work as designed. I would recommend this ram if you were looking for an inexpensive replacement at good quality.

As a parts manager in an RV dealer some parts are not normally stocked. Normal supply channels may not be able to get the part here for 7-10 days. When this happens etrailer becomes my go to people so I can expedite getting the job completed and my customers back on the road. Always a great experience and no delay in game.

The hydraulic cylinder is a direct replacement for my part. Installation was straight forward and fairly simple. Delivery to south Alabama only took three days. My only complaint is how the cylinder was packaged. It has a threaded rod on each end. One, about 3 inches long, is attached to the trailer frame and the other end is about 8 inches long and attaches to the slide out. The slide out end had heavy cardboard sleeve protecting the threads. The other end had no protection other than some loosely fitting bubble wrap stuffed in the cardboard carton. These threads were damaged and required filing before I could get a nut started. It wasn't a big deal but the shipping carton was ripped into and taped in several places. The carton end closure was destroyed by the 9 pound cylinder sliding back and forth. I was luck only having to fix a few threads.
Exact replacement for the old cylinder which was leaking internally. Etrailer gives excellent customer service and fast shipping.

I initially ordered this part from Amazon. Between UPS and Amazon they lost the part. A full week later than the scheduled delivery date they told me I would need to re-order it. So, I did from a company I trusted, E-trailer! As I have come to expect, it was delivered on time. The only thing I could suggest is to sell it for close to Amazons price. Other than that I’m literally a happy camper!

Quick replacement, just had trouble losing hydraulic oil because of hookup to other cylinder.

Excellent service and product, but whoever handled my chat should not be in that position. I had a question about my delivery and when it would be delivered. He basically told me " It gets there when it gets there". He then ended the chat. He had told me it didn't ship yet, but after chatting with him I checked my email and it HAD indeed shipped. Other than that clown Excellent service!
