When I placed this order I really thought I I was ordering a “Joint replacement kit” for my Lippert step, of which there are 12 joints. Very disappointed when I discovered your “joint kit for a Lippert step” only did one of the 12 joints. Can’t imagine someone ordering; 1 bolt, 1 nut, 1 washer and 1 bushing on purpose, especially considering it’s really only the bushing that wears out. Be careful with what you order…

parts were used to overhaul a set of kwikee rv steps. some modifications had to be done but i don't remember what. steps are working perfectly.

Bolt was one needed to repair broken bolt on Lippert double electric steps on recall. Out of 457000, mine was one that broke after 8 years. The bolt was needed to temporarily repair steps until part for recall repair could be obtained. Lippert did not want to tell me which bolt I needed. Will get full repair accomplished at Myrtle Beach in 2 days. Thank you for such quick response and fast shipment.

I used the hardware kit to rebuild the steps on a monaco rv. The old parts were worn and the steps felt sloppy when using them. The kit tightened everything back up.

Exactly Right. This is a small part and seems overly expensive at first. However it is an exact replacement, easy to order and solves the problem permanently. That is worth a lot.

Worked well as a replacement for a broken bolt on the Kwikee step of my 2007 Winnebago Aspect. Not an exact match as the existing bolt but it fit and so far it's fixed the loose step.

We do have a solution for you, however the shoulder bolts are not available individually. Instead, there is one as a part of the Replacement Joint Assembly Hardware Kit # LC216567. It comes with a 5/16"-18 Diameter x 1-1/4" long hex-head shoulder bolt, 5/16" tall bronze bushing with 1/2" outer diameter and 3/8" inner diameter, 5/16"-18 diameter locknut, and 3/8" Diameter washer with black zinc finish.
