Why did I have to get this? Oh yea, cause the description said for "extend marine use". My boat and trailer is only use for the marine environment. Bad choice. This dust boat a has steel ring inside, which makes it nearly impossible to put it in. The tolerance is so low that even if you get it in the steel ring will warp a little and wont make a complete seal. Everyone should avoid this dust boot. Instead go with the K225B, not this KB225B-SS. I just wasted $20 for 4. If you value your money, time, fingers and sanity, buy the all rubber K225B.

exact replacement for original boot , not sure about the stainless steel core , it was highly magnetic as most stainless is not.
For those that do not have a installation tool to press in the dust boot it would be a nice item to purchase with the boots.
