Now, this module is going to be exactly what you need if your original surge module has been sacrificed on your Second Generation 30-amp Hughes Watchdog surge protector, identified by that model number that you see there on your screen. So, that means that it absorbed a power surge to protect your RV's electrical system and it's no longer functional. Once the surge module has taken a hit, the unit typically stops giving you protection, even if the watch dog still powers your RV.

This is a great economical addition to add to the Hughes Power Watchdog PWD30EPOW surge protector system. Having a spare module “brain” will keep you in business should an unavoidable surge occur, protecting your rig from serious damage that can easily be fixed plug/play on the fly.
