Is there a warranty on the HU84ZR, or am I out of luck if it takes a surge?

Debbie, Hughes backs the Watchdog Surge Protector + Voltage Booster 30A # HU84ZR with a 3-year limited warranty, and the surge module itself is replaceable part # HU57ZR. If it ever absorbs a big hit, the Bulldog will turn red, and you’ll see an error code. Within the first couple of years, Hughes will even send a replacement module free. That way you don’t have to toss the whole unit. But it wouldn't hurt to grab an extra in case you ever need it, since it's relatively low cost compared to a brand new surge protector.
Have you had some surge protectors get used up and go bad over the years? It's unfortunate when that happens, but luckily this one has the replaceable module!
