Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement spring bar lift tool. This replaces the lift bar from your Curt TruTrack weight distribution system, with sway control. It's going to work with the 10,000 pound gross towing weight system, C17500, or the 15,000 pound system, C17501. This bar helps engage and disengage your spring bars on the bracket safely and easily. Basically, what it does is, this goes into the bracket that hangs down from the trailer frame, your spring bar would rest on here. And then this helps you get the proper leverage to slide the spring bar up and into place into the engaged position. The unit's made from a solid steel construction.
Has a black powder coated finish that's very durable. It's also going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. On this end, we're going to have the rubber coated handle, that ensures a comfortable, safe grip. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement spring bar lift tool.

This really isn't an optional item! I can't think how you could possibly install your hitch without this little beauty. I'm not weak but you'd have to able to lift your truck by hand if you didn't have this to lift your hitch arms into place. Works like a dream.

The Spring Bar Lift Tool works great. It is a direct replacement for the other two I lost. This one I painted silver so it stands out on the black battery boxes. Maybe now I won't leave it on top of the boxes and drive off.
