Will the MouseBlocker 1000x Electronic Rodent Deterrent Work on Ground Hogs?

Question:
Hi I was wondering if any of the mouse deterrent devices would also work against ground hogs? I have a problem with them under my shop. The area they are underneath is 28x42. Thanks!

Hey Dion. The MouseBlocker 1000x Electronic Rodent Deterrent item # MB54FR is not going to work on ground hogs. The Mouseblocker 1000 emits ultrasonic frequencies in the 25-45 kHz range, which is too high for them to hear it. Their hearing is quite a bit lower at 4 and 8 kHz so it won't even bother them. Plus those sound waves aren't going to penetrate the ground.
The best way to get rid of them is going to be to use a live trap.
