Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Basic Steel Cutting Edge Kit for your Meyer HomePlow Snowplow. Now, this is a replacement cutting edge kit, and this is designed specifically for the Meyer HomePlow, specifically, for plows that are six feet, eight inches wide or 80 inches. And this is made from hardened steel, which is built to take a beating from that snow and ice and pavement. And this kit comes with everything that you need for installation, including the edge itself and all of the mounting hardware in this bag, bolts, nuts, washers, so. And this is pre-drilled, as you can see right here.
So, this is going to be ready to install and it's gonna be basically a pretty simple install as well. So, it's pre-drilled, ready to mount. So, if you've been plowing for a few seasons, your current cutting edge may be showing its age, and that's probably why you're looking for a replacement. It could be worn down, it could be gouged or even bent. So, that wear can make your plow less effective at scraping snow off the pavement, and even put extra strain on other parts of your plow.
So, replacing it with this new steel cutting edge is going to restore that like-new performance. It's gonna give you a cleaner scrape, obviously, and it's gonna help your plow move more smoothly, and it's gonna actually be able to protect your plow's moldboard from further wear. This has been powder-coated, again, hardened steel. It's gonna be tough enough to handle those driveways and frequent use.
