Mirrors work great

The mirrors work great. I thought there would be a lot of vibration in them but there is none.

by:

Extremely pleased with not only the product, but the folks over at etrailer.com as well. Mr. George J was able to ship out my order that night (Sunday 03/03) and nailed the expected delivery date (Wednesday 03/06). These Eagle Visions are a life saver when you’re trying to tow with a rear view and hardly a driver side mirror. I’ve only got one picture installed, as they arrived in the evening. I’ll post another picture showing why I needed this product haha.

by:

Put these on my 2004 Dodge Dakota to pull an eight-foot-wide travel trailer.
These mirrors extend the mirror to at least three times the distance of the factory mirrors and should make lane changing, etc. much safer. They attach solidly and I don't see how they will vibrate, but I have not used them yet. The straps took a little tinkering to figure out, and the instructions on the box state that they are factory set for the driver's side. Neither mirror was set this way. The ratchet is against the mirror as they came. It was changeable without tools by unspooling the strap, pressing the release while pulling the ratchet winder. Move the release to the notch on the other side and insert the ratchet wheel. Re-thread the strap and the ratchet is away from the mirror now. Etrailer is great to order from as I equip my new trailer. This order was shipped within a couple hours and arrived two days early than expected.

Work great. Visibility is much improved as is safety in being able to see following traffic. Lane changes and backing were much easier. In use there was no vibration, even with trucks passing. The lenses have remained clear. Excellent product in use.

@LaneS They aren't the best looking option, but they sure do work great! Thank you!

They have done the job I purchased them for, however the straps damaged the clear coat on my dorrs.

Got them when said and surprised me seeing how they came USPS. I mounted them on a Chrysler Town and Country. They were easy and this weekend we]re heading out of town and we'll see how they do.

@Lonny Great! Thanks for sharing!

by:

These are so much better than the mirrors that strap on to your truck mirrors. They don't vibrate very much at all, unlike the others which vibrate so much they're almost unusable, and they stay in place. Drove 400+ miles with no issue whatever.

by:

The wing screw that holds the mirror in place strips out to easily and it does not hold position well at 70 mph for long trip. I had to get creative with mounting it as well. Other than that i like the product.

by:

Easy to install, better view of our camp er.

by:

These mirrors work great as a temporary solution for towing. I don’t tow often with this truck, so I didn’t want to permanently install large mirrors. These seem sturdy, and are easy to install when I need them.

by:

The mirrors are significantly rusting.

by:

The mirrors work great. They give me excellent view.

by:

Service is fast, representatives very helpful and if a problem occurs they are resolved quickly. Highly recommend and will continue to do future orders with them.

by:

Easy to install. Work well. Over winter one of the mirrors broke with no reason. (No projectile in sight. .

by:

Just opened the package so have not installed. Shipment arrived on time. My initial impression is these are well made, certainly heavier material than I expected, and overall quality appears very good. I like the design and many adjustment options. I expect these mirrors will certainly do well.

by:

A little cumbersome to mount. Once done the mvery acceptable. acceptable.

by:

The mirrors arrived earlier than I expected. They are very robust and well made. I have a small Sonoma pick up that is only 5' wide and I have to pull a trailer with a water tank that is over 7' wide to a remote area. The mirrors extend well beyond giving me the secure wide angle rear view.

Good. I only used them once to transport a water tank. They worked great and fit my truck nicely.

by:

Easy to setup and install. Removing them was fast and easy.

by:

I love these mirrors best I've ever bought. I strap them on and get no shake or wind noise. I can remove the mirror without removing strap. I would highly recommend these!!!

by:

These mirrors while helpful for additional side/rear vision, can not compare to OE installed mirrors. The mirrors vibrate resulting in a blurred or vibrated view. Cross winds also affect mirror vibration/ view. The installation instructions are not clear regarding top bracket installation to the door. On my 2018 Ford F 150 there a small drop to the window rubber at the window base, but this does not give a good bite for the top right angle bracket. The top bracket must go down over the window rubber side glass wiper and squeeze the rubber up against the door for proper installation allowing the angle bracket to rest on the top of the door ledge.

by:

I love them! A perfect fit for my situa tion.

by:

Shipped in original packaging, not sturdy box. Caused minor damage, not worth sending back for. All else was fine.

The strap tightening has failed and Im now using a cargo strap to hold them in place.

by:

Easy on / Easy off. Easy to adjust. nice product. Very helpful when your pick-up truck
is not equipped w/tow mirrors, especially when you have a 28' footer behind you.

P.erfect fit, work great

by:

I think for not being permeant mounted they work great. With that being said the mounting is critical and you have to have them mounted as tight as possible to minimize the shake effect. You must adjust the strap surface contact to a sold part of the door panel. This can take several tries to get the best results. When done use a whit paint market to mark the straps at the top to know where to stop. I also don’t usually drive above 55 MPH, because I’m retired and like taking it easy. Above 60 they will shake more, my experience.

by:

I have an older Dodge Dakota with which I am pulling a new small travel trailer. Of course there are no extendable mirrors on my truck, and those ones that strap to the mirrors are not very solid. I bought these to give me more peace of mind and they work great. I have traveled 100 miles or so with them on and they stay just where they should!

by:

I've been using these for about a year now towing a camper full time. I have to tighten them occasionally but otherwise they are perfect. I have had so many people say these are the best side mirrors they have ever seen and I agree.

Some things though:
*they rust. sad day. I wish I put a coating on them. next time.
*they pull at and warp your rubber seals around the windows. This means you have to move the mirrors around to different positions to prevent too much damage.

Thanks for the photo, and while there is an option for towing mirrors for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT, the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80910 you referenced are not a fit for your truck.
