Works well on my 2005 Chevy Suburban mi rrors
I just got them delivered today, they look great, sure hope they have good adhesive, time will tell. I’ll leave my review after a few weeks.
You asked for my comment. So here goes. I would give it zero stars.
Placements didn't work as in picture above. Left side fell off. Very frustrated. I will need to try something different.
Driver's side fell off after two days, passenger's side is not visible for driver's seat
best blind spot mirror i have found......and i tried alot of them
Works well. I actually mounted mine to the outside edge of the mirror after reading the one review where he mentioned that if you put it where it is shown the mirror cannot fold in. It works great and they look decent. The blue color does kill the glare at night. For the price you can't go wrong.
Really nice way to add blindspot coverage without taking away from the mirror coverage. Well packed and arrived early.
This does a very good job a making blind spots visible and the adhesive seems to be sticking well.
You can't see out the passenger side mirror unless you sitting on the passenger side. The mirrors fell off within a week, adhesive tape did not hold. Both mirrors fell off Ford f 150. Maybe better on different make and model.
So glad to get these. Was a little hesitant when they listed on the package that the fitment was for 07-09 but they fit the 2011 just fine. I am very surprised K Source has made this error.
It was awesome that etrailer has the listing
I was replacing one of these that fell off, it was one that stuck flat on. Because these had the extension that adhered under the vehicle mirror, I was expecting them to be a little larger than the last ones. Not, same size, very disappointing. Also the blue tint is distracting.
These fit perfect below my side mirrors and doesn't obstruct when I operate the folding function of my mirror. Because I've never seen any like these for the location I was able to put them in below the side mirrors, I bought a 2nd set as a backup in case they came off or just in case these were ever discontinue.
I have had 3 different sets of towing mirrors and these are the best ever.
These mirrors have helped me tremendously as alot of times I am by myself trying to back the trailer in and these help give me a better view of where I wouldn't otherwise be able to see with just the car mirrors.
On my 2004 Suburban if you try and install this mirror on the arm as pictured they contact and do not fold in with vent visor type rain guards. Otherwise Mount on the glass and they are handy.
The mirror does a fair job of eliminating a blind spot that makes me uncomfortable. I was looking forward to using it in traffic where the automated system showed others that I could not see. I carefully positioned the mirror and held it a few minutes to make sure the adhesive grabbed onto the vehicle mirror.
However, it blew off in traffic the very first day of use making it a wasted effort. The glue failed on the KSCW2000 but not on my vehicle. I was able to remove the remains from my vehicle.
The mirrors seem to fit okay, but as a previous buyer stated, they don't want to stay attached using the supplied two-sided tape. I plan on fixing this fault by using a strong glue to attach them permanently. I like them because they provide a quick bird's eye view of the rear of my truck without blocking the large mirror. They look like they came with the truck, unlike conventional "stick-on" mirrors.
This is the first time I have ordered something from etrailer that I have not been very very happy with that is why I only gave it three out of five stars the product itself was fine the method for mounting it really was the pits they ought to be ashamed of the mounting tape they send with those mirrors if I had used that I would not have made it out of the driveway before they have would have fallen off. Thank the Lord for super glue. For $4 it's a good buy as long as you have a bottle of super glue.
The mirrors worked as advertised and made a great addition to our towing safety, particularly as we have non-standard, large mirrors with lights on them. However, you will note my use of the past tense. We began using the mirrors on Friday, October 14. They were fine until we decided to drive on the highway, Saturday, October 15, at which time they began to detach. We quickly grabbed them and brought them inside. We are currently determining whether we want to use some sort of strong glue to attempt to use them again. The sticky pad they come with is NOT sufficient at all.
This is the best blind spot mirror for any vehicle that it will fit on. My vehicle is a Tahoe but any mirror that has a flat area between the mirror and the door will work. This doesn't go on the mirror blocking your normal view but on the area between the mirror and the door and shows exactly what is in your blind spot and beyond. You check your regular mirror then this one and you can change lanes with confidence even those jerks pulling into your destination lane from a lane over. These are not flat and have a lip on them that grabs from under the mirror mount securing them in two places. The blue tint helps out at night with headlight glare
I ordered the mirrors for my Expedition, and just put them on today. I really like the visibility factor and the blue tint. I haven't gotten my boat out from winter storage until next week, and I am looking forward to using the mirrors for towing. I have used them today to see how they worked while trailering our two bikes on the rear bike rack, and indeed, they do give you the extra visibility. Good Job..
Easy install I can see the side of our truck perfectly. I used a better 3m tape to mount them on I wouldn't trust the scotch foam tape it comes with.
Mirrors are great for the blind spots, would’ve been better if there was a bigger piece of adhesive on it, or some extra that came with. But I used some badge adhesive for emblems and it’s been working like a charm. The blue tint is crucial. Very nice stock look to them as well. I drive a 2008 ford ranger.
Work well
