Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our K Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors. So folks, if you're pulling a camper, or another wide trailer, those factory mirrors may not give you quite enough visibility down the sides of your trailer. So these are going to extend the field of view so that it's easier to keep an eye on traffic behind you, make lane changes safely, and see what your trailer's doing while you're on the road. Now, one of the biggest advances to the Snap & Zap is the design and how easy they are to put on.
You literally just snap these in place. They slide directly over your factory mirror housing. You simply line them up, they'll snap in place. You got the hole in the bottom. If you have the lights that go down the bottom, they do have a piece of blue tape on both of these.
That's just keeping this little clip in place for now during shipping, so I went ahead and left it on here to kind of show you where it goes. And as you can see, the mirror is really great at reflecting everything. We can see the studio lights and everything here today. And again, these are custom molded. So again, they just go simply right over your factory mirror.
There's no knobs, straps, tighten, additional hardware. They literally just snap in place and then you're ready to go. So once they're installed, you do have the adjustable surface here. You can push that, pull it directly towards you, up, down, whatever you need to be able to see what you need to see for your specific angle. So I like that feature.
Another great feature is you can obviously, when these are attached in place, you can simply close that factory mirror glass as well. So if you have on your truck, you can fold that mirror back into the side. That way it's not sticking out, especially in parking spots or just so people aren't walking into it, those kind of things. So very nice feature. And then when you're done, you're not towing, pop them back off. You get a nice little canvas carrying case. It does actually have a divider inside of it as well. So you can separate them side to side. So there's that little divider in there. So I can just simply slide my mirrors in place. And then I got a drawstring here on top. I can tie that up if I want to or whatever, but then I can simply put them in storage inside the vehicle, maybe inside the camper, or something that I'm towing with it. And then every time I need it, I just pop them back out, pop them on, and I'm ready to go. These towing mirrors are excellent. They fit well and look good. I leave them installed and push the mirrors in for car washing. Visibility is good too.
My mirrors showed up in a timely fashion. They look great on my 2014 Ram 1500. They were very easy to install and have no vibration while driving.

These clip on mirrors work great on my 2024 Colorado Z71. The extension is plenty for seeing around my trailer (e15tb) and the clip on mirrors have a very secure installation (very strong term for the simple "click!"). Mirror image was as stable as factory mirror at 85mph, even on a bumpy road. They follow the contour of the original mirrors quite well.
We have used the mirrors multiple times this summer. They work great and much cheaper than having new towing mirrors put on my truck. They are also not hard to put on and take off.

I tow a small 21ft travel trailer. These mirrors are perfect for my set up. Easy on, easy off. Big enough glass to have a decent view. Most importantly, the convex glass on both mirrors provides a nice wide view. I could find no other snap on mirrors that have convex on both sides.
Tow Mirrors
Looked at lots of aftermarket tow mirrors, settled on the K-Source Snap and Zap. Installed and took them out today for a test run... rock solid. Easy on and off.
The best things ever to add to my truck for hauling my camper. Easy clip on and off and look great . When not needed I take them off and put them in the nice felt bag and leave in the camper so they are right there ready to go for the next trip
The fit is excellent, the mirror size is great, they are stable on rough roads. The only issue is you need to turn off the auto-fold function for the mirrors if you have that. The bottom tab that you used to remove the mirror strikes the window trim and prevents the mirror from folding correctly.
These snap-on mirrors work well. No vibration. We had replacement mirrors before that were too large and created dangerous blind spots. These are sleek with no blind spots. All lights and warnings function. A little tough to get clipped on; otherwise 5 stars.
Used on my F-150 for a year. They certainly help with visibility to the side of the trailer. Not exactly what I wanted, because they are the mirror farthest to the side with the bets view of what is -behind me- I would prefer a mirror that did not "make objects smaller than they appear", so I could use these for rear visibility and my truck mirrors for side visibility.
They are good enough that I am no longer seriously entertaining the drastically more expensive option of putting Ford tow mirrors on.
So while not perfect, they are helpful, fit well, have little impact on fuel economy, and don't get in the way. They barely ever come off the truck.
I purchased a set of universal trailer mirrors from a retailer that were just janky! The fitment was sketchy at best & at highway speed gave a poor image from vibration. The replacement from eTrailer has perfect fitment-like OEM!! Perfection. After market support for the '24 Ford Ranger is slim, but these mirrors are great! Thank you!!
These mirrors installed easily and fit very well, with no vibration. They look like OEM equipment and provide a wider view than the stock mirrors, enabling me to now see along the sides of my 8' x 29' travel trailer. I do wish the mirror portion was 1 or 2 inches wider for a larger field of view. These lock into place with a plastic snap-on feature at the bottom of the housing (see photo) and it makes me wonder if it will wear off the finish of the stock housing. Only time will tell. Also, there are thin foam strips inside the add-on mirrors' housings that is designed to prevent frictional wear on the stock mirror. The foam covers raised ridges/points of plastic that are used used as mirror 'locators,' and I can only wonder if the thin foam will last very long. In any case, these are not complaints, just early observations, and I think the mirrors are excellent and deliver as promised.
These mirrors fit perfectly over the mirrors on my 2026 Chevy Tahoe and allow the factory blinkers and cameras to operate without any interference. They install in seconds and there are no straps to mess with. I use these mirrors when towing our 22 ft travel trailer and love them.
These look great on my Tundra, not like some crude add-ons. Others are marketing after-market ways to achieve towing mirror functionality, BUT I have the 360 camera feature and do not wish to give it up. So this option adds visibility without obstructing the cams I have come to rely on. These install in seconds, fit snug, and look good for a fraction of the cost of other options that are harder to install and negate my parking Cams.
I have a 2016 Silverado 2500 HD LTZ with factory mirrors including heat, turn signal and electric adjustments. Have been towing a 24 foot Travel trailer and the factory mirrors are adequate. Am used to swerving a little to see behind the trailer before changing lanes. Am now going to tow a thirty foot trailer and decided the mirrors would not do. Looked for an oem towing mirror but was shocked by the price. $[XX] plus for one that has all the functions of the LTZ mirror.
Looked around, watched videos, read reviews and decided to puchase these mirrors. Got them today and they installed in a snap. Have yet to use them but will be shortly. Initial impression is that they will provide the extra vision needed to pull this trailer.
Only complaint was the condition of the package received by USPS. The product was shipped in the manufacturer packaging which was probably not a good choice. Fortunately the mirrors were undamaged as can be seen in the photos.
In any case, the mirrors fit and seem to be well constructed. Hence the five stars. Time will tell if I made a good choice.

These fit like a glove! No “shake” when driving. Lights work as they should. Other than factory trailer mirrors, I don’t know how you can do better!
These are a must have if you tow with a Jeep! Follow the directions of how to put them on and you are golden for seeing the blind spots on both sides. You will have to adjust the mirrors by hand but, there is no jiggling of mirrors as you go down road and they stay still and in place at all times.my photos show a dirty jeep but hey...I use it!
These fit the mirror and help me see down the complete side of an 8.5 x 20 enclosed trailer for a 2500 mile trip. Allows all the cameras to work. Delivery was quick from trailer. Someone needs to do an OEM style full on tow mirror.
The only suggestion is it would be nice if the mirror was a little bigger.
The point on the vehicle mirror happens to be right in the middle of the sight line.
All this said, the mirror allowed me to safely change lanes, which the original mirrors did not allow.
I plan on painting them the vehicle color.
Would buy again.
Easy to install, easy to care for...with added bonus protection of the OEM mirrors. People who have seen them on my 24 ford Ranger have asked where they can purchase them many times...and have recommended to several friends/fellow RV users. Fit is good. The price is very expensive for the Maverick compared to other trucks.
