  Easiest solution would be the brake controller install harness part # HA81798-HBC which is a confirmed fit for your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 and is designed for use with the Hayes Syncronizer # HA81725. This would plug in on your truck in place of the wiring harness you have found. Aside from that we don't know the wire color functions of your truck so you'd have to test them individually with a tester like part # PTW2993.

  For your 2006 Land Rover LR3 I recommend the K-Source towing mirror set # KS3990. These mirrors will fit around factory side mirrors that have a lip or gap between the glass and mirror housing.   The CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror, part # CM11980 is designed to clamp to the upper lip of your side view mirror. We have not had a chance to install this mirror on a 2016 Frontier yet but if your mirror has a lip between the mirror glass and the mirror housing it should work well for you.
