Tow Mirror Recommendation for 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

Question:
Im not seeing how the bottom bracket of the towing mirror will fit bottom of truck mirror which is angled

I checked out the mirrors on the 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and since the bottom of the mirror is angled in the best tow mirror is going to be the CIPA part # CM11980 which clips to the top of the mirror housing. Check out the picture I attached as well as the review video I attached for this mirror as well.
