Question:

I have a 2004 Porsche Cayenne , and just bought strap type extenders. They do not work. Mirror housing is to curved. Any ideas??

Since a universal-fit clip-on towing mirror like # KS3891 does not provide a satisfactory fit on the curved mirror housings on your 2004 Cayenne, I suggest a fender-mount towing mirror that will mount independently of your OEM mirrors.

CIPA # 11650 is sold as a single mirror (so please order two for a pair) but it will fit on both driver and passenger doors of most vehicles. The mirror surface measures 5 x 7-inches and it extends out about 17-inches. This gives you a wide field of view without interference with your OEM mirrors or any built-in lighting functions they may have. The linked review video illustrates installation.
