The T-Rac Pro2 Ladder Rack is built from 6000-series aluminum and rated to carry up to 1,000 lbs, so it handles ladders, lumber, and other long loads without flexing. The internal web structure of the 65" long crossbars adds strength while keeping the system lightweight at just 55 lbs. With a rack height of 25-3/8", it keeps your cargo elevated and stable above the bed, leaving room for whatever else you need to haul below. The wide base on each upright provides extra stability, so there’s no need for additional bracing even when you’re maxing out the load rating.
The rack is made of sturdy aluminum that’s naturally rustproof and lighter than steel, which means it won’t eat into your payload capacity. Thule adds a dual-stage powder coat finish for even more durability—an e-coat for strong adhesion and corrosion resistance, followed by a clear coat that helps protect against scuffs and scratches. This combination keeps the rack looking clean and holding up strong through every season.
You don’t have to drill into your truck to mount this rack. It secures with heavy-duty aluminum clamps that fit over the bed rails for a quick, solid setup. Each upright base is held by two clamps that torque down for a tight fit. There’s also an integrated toolbox mounting kit with four pre-drilled clamps and hardware so you can mount a crossover-style toolbox between the uprights without cutting or modifying your truck bed.
Keeping gear in place is easy thanks to the four included heavy-duty aluminum load stops that slide within routed slots on the crossbars. Just twist the quick-release knob, position them where you want, and lock them down to hold ladders or materials steady. Built-in loops make it simple to add tie-down straps when needed. Four additional side cleats attach to the uprights so you can anchor bulky or uneven loads securely from multiple angles.
Each crossbar has an aerodynamic elliptical shape that reduces drag and wind noise while driving. Airfoil trip strips shield the bar slots from airflow to prevent whistling. That means even when you’re carrying long materials or kayaks, the ride stays quiet and efficient—so all you hear is the road ahead, not the wind through your rack.
