Question:

I was told the Thule rail mount lumber rack would fit with a between the rail Peragon tonneau as long as I bought the rail and rack not just the rack. I wanted to confirm the correct base rail part and associated ladder rack. I’m hoping for 1250lb capacity but anything over 800lbs would be fine.

I went ahead and spoke to Peragon, and they did confirm that the Base Rails for Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Racks # TH21610 will work with their tonneau covers, however the Thule ladder racks that are confirmed to fit your truck do not require bed rails.

Thule ladder racks like the T-Rac Pro2 Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma # TH37005XT will mount in the truck bed and will likely interfere with your Paragon tonneau cover.

As of right now, there is not a base rail system/ladder rack combination that will work with your vehicle, unfortunately.

The only other option that you could possibly use is the:

-Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack for Tonneau Cover # Y01151-5855 which does not have as high capacity that you're wanting (300-lbs on road, 180-lbs off-road) and will install into the t-tracks of select tonneau covers. So theoretically if your tonneau cover has t-tracks on the rails, then you can bolt this ladder rack to it and still be able to have the tonneau cover installed.
