Today we're going to review part number XIL-ST75. This is the Vision X LED Light Strip. It is touch enabled activated. It is about 7-1/2" long. This is a sleek LED light strip which will illuminate tight spaces. The switch right here is an easy-to-use on and off switch. In other words you just touch that and it'll go from high, to low, to off.
I'm going to show you how that operates here in a minute. It does use long lasting LEDs, have a 30,000 hour life span, uses a frosted lens on it, which blends together the light from the LEDs to create just one shadow. It is a die-cast aluminum construction. It has a nice black powder coat finish that won't rust. It is a two wire design as you can see here. It has a black wire for a ground, a red wire for the power.
It is a simple bolt on installation; has the holes, two screws to bolt it on. Again the approximate dimensions from edge to edge is going to be right at 7-1/2". The width of it is right at about 1". The depth of it is right at 3/4". The effective lumen output on this is 129 lumens. The raw lumen output is 141 lumens.
The wattage is 2 watts. It has a power draw of .16 amps. The input voltage is 9 volts to 32 volts DC. This does come with a limited lifetime warranty. The cord, the wires themselves are about 18" long. Now I just want to give you a demonstration here.
We got a 12 volt power supply I'm going to attach these to. We'll attach the red wire for the power. Take the ground, we'll attach the black wire for the ground. Now with them hooked up we're going to turn off the overhead lights. Lights are off, we'll go ahead and turn on the 12 volt power and you'll be able to see there it is already on and then again you just touch this bullseye right here, you'll see it dims it. Touch it again and it'll go off. Again you just touch it, it goes on to high, touch it again it'll dim it, touch it again and it'll go off. Very simple switch. Now we'll turn back on the overhead lights, turn off the power. That should do it for the review on part number XIL-ST75, the Vision X LED Light Strip with the Touch Enabled Switch in 7-1/2" long. .
