Features to know about

Heavy Loads Made Simple: Hydraulic Power Does the Lifting

No one wants to fight a crank handle when dealing with serious weight. This self-contained hydraulic jack handles up to 12,000 lbs of lifting and 15,000 lbs of support capacity, so you can raise or lower your trailer with the press of a button. The 500W 12V DC dual motor and self-contained pump and power unit are already attached, giving smooth and effortless operation even under heavy load. It’s the kind of power that takes the hard work out of setup and keeps things steady no matter what’s on the tongue.

Steady on Any Surface: Large Pivoting Foot Pad Keeps You Grounded

Parking on uneven gravel or dirt can make a trailer shift and wobble. The 10" x 10" pivoting foot pad stabilizes the jack on rough terrain, spreading the load for a firm hold. Whether you’re positioning on a slope or soft soil, the wide pad helps the trailer stay level while the square-tube design keeps it from twisting. The durable exterior-grade black finish stands up to weather and grime so performance stays consistent over time.

Simple Power and Control: Corded Remote at Your Fingertips

Getting the height just right shouldn’t be a guessing game. The jack includes a corded remote control switch that lets you operate the hydraulic system from a safe, comfortable spot. With 24-1/4" of lift and bracket heights from 34-7/8" retracted to 59" extended, you get precise movement with no need to lean or strain. The remote connects straight to the power unit, so setup is straightforward and ready for work.

Built for Real-World Use: Bolt-On Strength, Long-Term Dependability

A solid mount gives confidence every time you use it. This bolt-on square-tube jack installs easily using the built-in mounting tabs (7-1/2" x 4") and can also be welded if preferred. The 24-1/4" lift, 2.5-quart hydraulic reservoir, and 1,500 psi working pressure mean it’s built for repeated heavy-duty cycles. Once installed, it’s a dependable piece of gear you can rely on day after day without the fight of manual jacking.

Very Good Product Works Very Well, The Guys at ETRAILER WERE VERY PROMPT AND PROFFESSIONAL. The Only Gripe I have is the Shipping package by the time it got to me the cardboard packaging was tour all to h***LL. I was worried that the fittings were broke off, But they were OK. Other than that COMPLETLY SATISFIED.

by:

The jack is great. The lightweight shipping box is a disaster. Thankfully the jack wasn’t destroyed when it arrived, only the cardboard box was torn into shreds and no instructions were to be found. Also, check e-trailer’s pricing. I watched the price change in the web site literally every time I looked it up, sometimes changing twice daily. There was a $[xx] price swing between when I bought it, and the dozens of times I checked price before purchasing.

It is a great trailer jack.

  • How Is The Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack e33VV Powered?
Hello Josh, thanks for reaching out. The Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack # e33VV cannot be powered by the 7-way. It needs its own full size deep cycle RV/marine battery. You will also need battery cables for connecting to the HPU.

  • Can The Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack # e33VV Be Installed On A Sundowner Horse Trailer
Hey Cheryl, Yes, the Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack # e33VV could be bolted the frame of your horse trailer to upgrade you to a motorized jack. This jack has a 12,000lb capacity so you'll want to verify what your pin weight is to ensure it falls under this rating. If yours is over 12K then just let me know what it is and I can see if there's an alternative that does work. I've attached a diagram of the mounting bracket dimensions so you can check your trailer frame and see if you'll...

  • Can you relocate the Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack Housing?
Hey Bo, happy to help! The hydraulic pump and reservoir on the etrailer Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack # e33VV are designed to stay mounted directly to the jack and are not intended to be relocated to a separate location on the trailer. Since the unit is self-contained, the pump, reservoir, and jack all work together as a single assembly. If you're concerned about clearance, the housing measures approximately 10.4" behind the jack tube, 6" in front of the tube, 13.8" tall, and 9.05" wide,...

  • How Does The Etrailer Hydraulic Jack Get 12v Power? From Truck Or Trailer?
Hey Roland, the Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack - Square Tube - Bolt On - 12,000 lbs # e33VV connects to a battery on your trailer. It wouldn't be good to run it to the 7 way on the back of truck but you could wire the 7 way to charge a battery mounted on the trailer, which is what I do on my car hauler trailer. Do you already have a battery mounted on the trailer? If not, you can grab a standard 12v marine battery, nothing fancy.

  • What Are Dimensions of Housing on Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack e33VV
Hi David, Sure thing, I was able to get the dimension drawing showing the dimensions of the housing of the Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack # e33VV. As you can see, it sticks out 10.4" (about 10-7/16") from the back of the jack, 6" from the front tube, is 13.8" (about 13-13/16") tall, and 9.05" (about 9-1/16") wide. And to answer your last question, there have been no returns of the # e33VV jack.

  • Availability of Hydraulic Tongue Jack for Big Tex Dump Trailer
Hi there Bob; we do have a hydraulic jack you could use on your Big Tex trailer. • Can The Hydraulic Cylinder In A Bulldog 12k Trailer Jack Be Replaced Or Repaired
Hi Andy, The 69516497 unfortunately didn't come back to anything for me, but I can say that the manufacturer doesn't really offer replacement cylinders so you would either need to replace the jack entirely or reach out to a local company that works on hydraulic cylinders to see if they can rebuild it for you. If you want to go the replacement route then we have a few options to choose through. If you're wanting to stick with the Bulldog brand you can swap to the # BD182701. If you're...

If you already have a battery the cables are all that is necessary to run power to the jack. • Recommended Motorized Trailer Jack For A Horizon HZ5 Dump Trailer
Hey Nick, With the GVWR of your Horizon HZ5 being over 7K we don't really have a good a-frame jack capable of handling the weight but you could mount a hydraulic jack with a motor like the Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack # e33VV. It has a 12,000lb capacity so it's more than capable of handling the loads you'll put in the trailer and comes with a corded remote control to activate the motor. It has a bolt on design so you'd be able to mount it to the center beam of the frame.

Hey Michael. As of right now we do not have a hydraulic jack that can tie into your hydraulic system (Though there have been talks around the building of this possibility), nor the add on to convert a manual to hydraulic, but we do have the # e33VV which has it's own built in hydraulic system. This jack has a 12,000lb lift capacity which will be way more than enough for your trailer.

  • Is Replacement Tank Available for Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack
Hi Joe; the Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack # e33VV has its reservoir built into the hydraulic power unit, so it isn’t a typical standalone replacement part. RAM does list the tank as part HPU-TANK0025H, but it isn’t something that’s available through retail outlets. • Does the etrailer Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack have a Manual Override?
Great question, Bo! The Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack # e33VV does not have a traditional manual crank override. However, it does have a manual override function built into the hydraulic power unit. If power is lost, you can manually operate the override to retract or extend the jack. The manufacturer recently clarified this, so we'll be updating the product page to reflect that information. It's still recommended to power the jack from a properly charged, full-size deep-cycle RV battery,...
