Question:
I have a Lamar telescopic dump trailer I use for work and I'm looking at installing a hydraulic jack on the tongue in place of the regular jack. What other parts will I need to use this?

Hi Robert; aside from mounting hardware (if you are bolting it on and not welding) you will need to add a 12V deep cycle RV/Marine battery like # 34276285 and some wire to run from the # e33VV to the battery. If you already have a battery the cables are all that is necessary to run power to the jack.
If you're using the battery to power other things like the lift you may want to add an additional battery or a way to charge it so you don't run out of power on the job site. I went ahead and added a chart below for battery cable gauges for your reference. For hydraulic oil RAM recommends using Dexron rated ATF.

Hi Robert, how did things go with adding the hydraulic jack to your Lamar dump trailer? Did the wiring setup and battery connection work like you expected? Your update could make it easier for others upgrading their trailer jacks.
