Question:
What is this jack powered by? Is it powered by the tow vehicle/truck electric power or by a external power supply? My trailer is a 2022 BigTex 20foot 14TL equipment tilt trailer

Hey Roland, the Self-Contained Hydraulic Jack - Square Tube - Bolt On - 12,000 lbs # e33VV connects to a battery on your trailer. It wouldn't be good to run it to the 7 way on the back of truck but you could wire the 7 way to charge a battery mounted on the trailer, which is what I do on my car hauler trailer.
Do you already have a battery mounted on the trailer? If not, you can grab a standard 12v marine battery, nothing fancy.

Thanks for answering. That was the thought I had to power the etrailer jack. I was thinking it had a battery system contained in with the hydraulic system which would make it a really self contained powered torque jack. But it's still a great idea. Thank you.
