Features to know about

Lifts Heavy Campers with Less Effort: 4,000-lb Capacity and 10:1 Winch Gear Ratio

Moving a camper on and off your truck can take real muscle, but these heavy-duty cable jacks make it manageable. The pair supports a combined weight of 4,000 lbs and uses a 10:1 gear ratio that lets you crank smoothly with less effort. The hand winches have automatic friction brakes that hold the load when you pause, so you never have to worry about the cable free-spooling or slipping while you work.

Adapts to Tall Vehicles and Uneven Ground: 21"–67" Lifting Range

Not every setup is the same height, and these jacks give you the reach to handle almost anything. They lift from 21" up to 67", clearing tall bed rails with room to spare. Each tripod base keeps things steady and distributes the camper’s weight evenly front to back and side to side. Wide footplates help prevent sinking or tilting when you’re working on softer or less level ground.

Sets Up Fast Without Permanent Mounts: Portable 3-Piece Design

You don’t need to bolt anything down or clutter up your rig with permanent mounts. Each jack breaks down into three pieces for transport and quick setup, and the L-shaped lift brackets simply slide under your camper before you start cranking. When you’re done, the parts come apart easily for compact storage until next time you need them.

Built to Last Through Frequent Use: Galvanized and Powder-Coated Steel

Outdoor work takes a toll on equipment, so these jacks are made to handle it. The upright poles are galvanized for corrosion resistance, while the tripod bases and lift brackets have a black powder-coated finish for extra durability. Aircraft-grade cables run the winches, giving you strength and reliability for regular use in demanding conditions.

Moves Easily Around Campsites or Yards: Wheeled Tripod Legs

Repositioning heavy jacks can be a chore, but this design saves your back. Each tripod has two built-in wheels on a retractable swing-out leg that let you roll the jacks into place or move them when needed. Whether you’re adjusting load position or lining up for storage, they’re easy to maneuver without lifting or dragging heavy gear.

I can understand your disappointment with the jacks and I wanted to ask you a few questions. Can you explain more on the weight of the camper. Would you be able to send a picture of the bend?

by:

These jacks work really well. I deliberately bought the tallest, heaviest rated so that I'd maximize capability. They had no problem raising the camper much higher than needed. They provided good stability and ease of lift. The only complaints are that the poles were completely wrapped with cellophane tape (instead of cling wrap) creating a sticky mess. Also one of the top screws that keep the cable from going off the pulley was not included. The jacks had some surface (paint) damage. I'm not sure if that was due to being previously purchased and returned, or damage during shipment. But these are very strong and stable.

This system works for the heavy 1980s truck camper I have. My camper once had the 4 jacks on each corner but the ones in front broke off twice and it didn't seem worth rebuilding the wood inside to remount them. The tradeoff is its not easy to pack these jacks around and take the camper on and off while camping. But at least I can use my camper again. I kept the back 2 corner jacks on even though the information on the new ones suggests that they are enough but for more safety and ease I use the old back jacks and these new Brophys. So I would recommend them for such a situation.

by:

I bought two of the 67 inch 4000 lb jacks my cab over slide in camper is heavy I had no problems lifting up the camper but I don’t have a concrete area so I built my own six inch wooden pads and I decided to use another set of the jacks as I don’t own the property where I live and the landlord would not allow it so I’m getting a second set just for peace of mind.the price makes the most sense for me.

I could not be happier with the service I received from etrailer I ordered a significant amount of parts for my new truck and camper however the shipping company lost major components. With one phone call I got a real person on the phone. She asked for photos of the boxes and what was missing.after reviewing the photos they didn’t hesitate to immediately ship me the parts along with follow up calls and a tracking number for the replacement parts. I’m so grateful for the customer support they are a first class company. I will continue to be a loyal customer. Thanks again.

  • Option to Replace Discontinued Atwood Camper Jacks 86065
Atwood is no longer in business so those camper jacks are no longer something available for purchase. While I realize that's not what you wanted to hear, there are options for replacements that I wanted to mention so you have that option: - Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks - 57" Max Lift Height # CXHD - Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height # CX74 These are manual jacks with a combined 4,000 lb lift capacity which will work for your Lance truck camper's weight....

  • Recommended Truck Bed Camper Jack System For A 2013 Ram 2500 Dually
Hello Christy. I do have a potential option for you, but the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks # CX74 are generally not recommended for dually trucks. Fitment can depend on the width of the truck compared to the width of the camper. In most cases, they will not clear the fenders on a dually. If the camper is the same width as the top of your bed rails there won't be a way to use a camper jack like this as they'd interfere, but if the width of the camper is same as dually fenders it would...

  • Replacement Crank For An Atwood Truck Camper Jack System
Hey Tom, Atwood has been out of business for long enough now that all replacement parts for most of their products, including your MPD86065, have been discontinued and sold out. This leaves you with either replacing the entire system with one like the HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jack System # LC736514-ELKIT or you could reach out to a local fabricator shop and see if they can make a new crank or fix the one you have if it's broken. We also offer a manual crank option with the Brophy...

  • Availability of Taller Brophy Cable Camper Jacks
Hello Min; the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height - 3,000 lbs # CJ74 or Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height - 4,000 lbs # CX74 are going to be your best option. I know they only have 67" of lift but you can gain the extra height you need by placing them on blocks. We don't have anything like this that is taller, and I don't think anyone makes a taller version of these, so this is the best solution to reach the 90" mark you're looking for. The one thing...

  • Why Doesn't Brophy Replacement Wheel # 1206 Have Weight Capacity

  • How Much Fender Clearance Does The Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks Offer
We don't currently have any customer submitted photos for the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks # CX74, but we do for the lower capacity # CJ74, which uses the same lift brackets. From the edge of the tube to the lift bracket is approximately 3" so you don't have a lot of extra clearance. If the body sits past the fenders or just less that 3" before the fenders then you should be good to go.

  • Slide In Truck Camper Jacks Recommended For a Dually Pickup Truck
With dually trucks I recommend the Swing Out Extension Brackets # LC182496 with the HappiJac Manual Truck Camper Jack System # LC736515-4. This is due to the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks # CX74 having to sit under the lip of the camper. Since slide in campers can vary in width depending on manufacturer and model I cannot say that they will clear the dually fenders on your 2022 Ford F-350. The extension brackets will give you 3-1/2" to 4-1/2" of extension off the side of the camper...

  • Are The Brophy Cable Camper Jacks Stable
You should not have a problem with the camper sliding out when you are using any of the Brophy Cable Camper Jacks. The jack is very stable because of the tripod base. That stability will make the jack very difficult to tip to the front or the back. You will need to use two jacks, one per side. You will just need to make sure your camper jacks maximum weight capacity exceeds the weight of your camper. I may have a solution for you, but we don't carry any true pneumatic wheels for swiveling trailer jacks-they're typically only going to be used on heavy duty trailer jacks and dollies like the Trailer Valet # STC-V211. With that said, you may be able to use the Replacement Wheel for Brophy Heavy-Duty Cable Camper Jacks # 1206 which is a replacement for the Brophy # CX74 or # CXHD jack. • Hoist Options to Remove a Canopy Off of a Truck
I have a couple different options you can use to lift a canopy off of your truck. If you are removing the canopy in a garage or shop that would provide overhead supports, you can use an overhead winch like the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL11011 with the Hand Winch Cable with Safety Hook # DL24100. If you are needing a system that does not require supports overhead, then you could use the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks # CX74.

I am not aware of any adapter for either manufacturer which will allow you to attach the jacks in the manner you are wanting.

  • Does Truck Bed Camper Need To Overhang For Brophy Camper Jacks To Work?
Yes, technically the camper needs to hang over truck bed rails for the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height - 4,000 lbs # CX74 to get under the camper and lift it up properly. This should be self-explanatory, but if the camper doesn't fit the truck bed properly and doesn't overhang the proper amount, then the jack would be too close inside and possibly hit the truck tires.

I contacted Brophy and the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks part # CX74 are designed to be used on a solid flat surface preferably concrete. Your concerns are valid that the camper may slide off if the ground is unstable. They do not recommend using blocks or supports under the feet that will raise the jacks up because that could cause instabilities as well. You are best to use the jacks on solid ground.
