Today, we're going to be taking a look at the VFW seal 2-inch hitch cover from AMG. This hitch cover's going to allow you to display the officially-licensed VFW seal, and it's going to add a clean, finished look to your vehicle, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover's going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a black powder-coat finish on it, so it's going to do great at resisting rust and corrosion. We're going to have the chrome-plated metal emblem right here on the front. That's going to feature a rust-proof and fade-proof design. It's American-made. Here on the back side, we're going to have a foam gasket.
That's going to help reduce rattling between the hitch and the hitch cover. The hitch cover is going to require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock for installation into your hitch. Those items are sold separately, but if you're interested in one, you can find them right here at etrailer.com. The pin hole on this hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8-inch diameter pin. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. The overall width here at the face is going to be about 5 inches.
Overall height, it's going to be about 3-1/2 inches tall. If we take a measurement from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pin hole, we're looking at about 2-1/2 inches. Again, this is designed for a 2-inch by 2-inch trailer hitch. A very simple installation process. All you have to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up your pin holes, and then secure it with a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock.

It took to long to get to us via mail and I wish the product had multiple holes giving us the option of adjusting it to fit the hitch receiver better.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.
I am very pleased with the new hitch cover I ordered from etrailer.com. It was reasonably priced and is made of outstanding material. Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.
Love this hitch cover. It is exactly what I was looking for.
I love the emblem. Exactly as shown in the photos and the construction of this is solid.
My only problem is that the length of the tube does not allow me to use it when I have the anti-rattle collar installed. I have to remove the anti-rattle when not towing. I would love it if there was an option for a tube that is maybe 1 inch longer.

This is a quality product. Yes, it costs a little more, but it is the Official VFW Emblem and it is built well. The rubber gasket is a nice touch to reduce any noise and metal rubbing.

No fading or cracking - holding up well to the weather.
This is fantastic. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. It's strong, heavy, beautiful, and reflects credit on the VFW. I'm completely pleased with it.
