Emblem Material of the VFW Seal Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover # AMG102422

Question:
I understand that the hitch cover itself is metal, but is the emblem on the face made out of metal or plastic? In the description, it says VFW Seal Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover - 2inch Hitches - Chrome Emblem, but one of the reviews says that the emblem is actually plastic. The reason I ask is that a plastic emblem will likely weather quickly. $ is a lot for plastic.

The emblem of the # AMG102422 is chrome plated metal and not plastic. I looked for the review you mentioned but couldn't find it.
