Video Transcript for All About the Florida State University Seminoles Chrome Mascot Emblem 2" Hitch Cover

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Florida State University 2 inch hitch cover from AMG. The hitch cover's going to allow you to show your school pride. It adds a clean, finished look to your hitch, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover's made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice, black, powder coat finish, which is going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. Here on the front, we're going to have a nice chrome plated metal emblem. It's going to a nice rust proof and fade proof design.

The product is made in the USA. Here on the back side, we've got a foam gasket that goes around the piece that slides into the receiver tube of our hitch. That foam gasket's going to do a great job at reducing rattle, in between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is an officially licensed product. It does require a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch lock, for a complete installation. Those items are sold separately.

If you're interested in one, or if you need one, you can find them here at etrailer.com. The pin holes on the hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8 inch diameter pin. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the overall width of the hitch cover face. We're looking at around 5 inches. Overall, height, it's going to measure around 3 and half inches, and then the distance that we have from the back of the foam pad to the center of the hitch pinhole, that's going to be pretty close to 2 and a half inches. This is designed for a 2 inch by 2 inch hitch. It's a very simple installation.

Just slide this piece into the receiver tube, until you get your pinholes to line up, and then secure it with the hitch pin and clip, or hitch lock. That's going to do it for today's look at the Florida State University 2 inch hitch cover from AMG.
