Today we're going to be taking a look at the Florida State University two inch hitch cover from AMG. The hitch cover is going to allow you to show your school pride. It's going to add a clean finished look to your hitch, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch covers going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a nice black powder coat finish, which is going to offer great protection from rust and corrosion. Here on the front we're going to have a chrome plated metal emblem. The units going to be rust proof and fade proof when it comes to the design of the unit, and it's going to be made right here in the USA. Here around the back side it's going to have a nice foam gasket, that's going to help reduce rattle between the hitch cover and the hitch.

This is an officially licensed product. Now this does require a hitch pin and clip, or a hit lock to get it installed into the hitch. Those items are sold separately, but if you're interested in one you can find them right here at etrailer.com. The pin hole on this hitch cover will accept a standard five-eighth inch diameter pin. I'm going to take a measurement of the hitch cover face width. It's going to be about five inches.

The height it's going to be about three and a half inches. The distance that we have from the back of the foam pad to the center of the hitch pin hole is going to be about two and a half inches. This is designed for a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. Very simple installation. Just slide this piece into the receiver to move your hitch, line up your pin holes with the pin holes in the hitch. Secure it using the hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock.
