Should this unit be loud? Its mounted in the bedroom and is just plain noisy. It is ducted.. Is there any options to quiet it down?

Hey John, the Furrion Chill HE isn't known for being super quiet unfortunately. There isn't really a great way to quiet it down either. The only solution would be to replace it with a unit that we know is super quiet which happens to be the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR69TD. This unit is MUCH quieter, blows colder and also draws a lot less amperage than any other option. This is also a ducted setup that comes with everything needed to install including the air box and wall thermostat.
I wish there was a way to just swap the upper units and allow you to use what you have now but it's not compatible with that and it all has to be replaced.
