Hi there Ryan.
Since your Dometic 57915.531J9 is an older 13,500 Btu unit, the main thing to know is that RV air conditioners changed over to the newer refrigerant a couple years ago, and the new systems are not backwards compatible with the older Dometic controls and components. Because of that, I’d recommend replacing the complete AC system. If you wanted to keep your existing setup, you’d likely have to find an older compatible rooftop unit as used or old stock through somewhere like eBay.
A good replacement option is the Furrion Chill HE 13,500 Btu Complete RV Air Conditioner System # FR25TD, which includes the rooftop AC, air distribution components, controller, and wall thermostat.
If your current setup uses ceiling-mounted manual controls instead of a wall thermostat, we also have the Furrion Chill HE 13,500 Btu System # FR52TD.
Both are fine for ducted or non ducted setups.
Is your current Dometic setup ducted, and does it use a wall thermostat or controls on the ceiling assembly?
